HOXIE – Leoti-Wichita County senior guard Christopher Michel earned first team all-state honors on the Indians’ 13-0 squad that won the ’22 Eight-Man, Division I state championship. Michel was considered among Kansas’ top returning linemen for all classes in ‘23. The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder, though, missed the first two games because of a right hamstring injury.
