HOISINGTON – A few weeks ago, longtime Hoisington head football coach Zach Baird invited the seniors over to his house for dinner. The Cardinals have just six seniors, tied for the fewest since 2013. However, each senior starts and at least two will be first team all-state players. All have played a crucial role in Hoisington’s 12-0 season and Class 2A state championship game berth.
