LENEXA – St. James Academy head volleyball coach Nancy Dorsey finished her 14th annual Slam around 8 p.m. on August 26. SJA and its elite defense had just defeated Missouri power Liberty North, 25-26, 25-15. The Thunder limited LN to its lowest single match hitting percentage since 2018.
Dorsey stood in the middle of the court on the St. James side. She had worked in various capacities with the Slam for more than 12 hours.(...)
