Ellis sophomore Avery Boydston – and several of her family members – enjoyed an excellent start to the cross country season. Boydston enjoyed a stellar freshman year and summer track. She is on the short list of contenders to replace Stanton County legend Chesney Peterson as 2A’s top distance runner.
